The space between the head line and life line indicates that the person is outgoing, rash, never misses out on an opportunity. Success doesn’t have anything to do with this combination.
It is a general impression that people who are outgoing and never miss opportunity are likely to be successful.
It is also perceived that people who are contemplating and miss out on opportunity are likely to fail.
Big gap between Head and the Life line

People who do have big gap between the two lines are action-oriented. They believe in the saying “just do it”. Even if an opportunity is a mile away they want to catch hold of it and at give it a try, even if there fingers burn.
The action is independent from the mind the thought process. The people do not generally think twice before making a decision and the action.
Small space/ gap between the Head and the Lifeline

A narrow gap between the head and lifeline is indicative of a person who is
- just in time for everything.
- not rash or over contemplating.
- not rash or outgoing.
- takes the decision at an opportune time.
- does not over contemplate nor are they rash.
For example if this person has to hold a hot plate with hands they will wait for the plate to cool down to the appropriate level. At suitable levels the hands will not burn.
Huge Space/ gap between the Head and the Lifeline

You will see that numerous individuals have space, a big gap between the head and lifeline it shows that the individual is
- Such individuals are activity-oriented. It is a general impression people who act first and think later may suffer losses but not a sure shot sign for failure.
- failing to miss out on an opportunity.
- rash. So does this kind of combination bring losses. The probability of losses increases for those people who are rash by nature. This is not a sure shot indication of losses. There may be many indication where inspire if being rash still the person will be rich famous.
- reckless
- over hasty
- thoughtless
- even if the opportunity is far off they will catch hold of it and try to make the best use of it. Regardless of how difficult or and far fetched the opportunity they will grasp it with open arms.
Their motto is “just do it”.

Space between Head and life line plus bad sign

It all depends upon the other negative sign coupled with space between the head and life line that may indicate losses or trouble.
- grill on mount of mercury indicates miss-calculation and miss-communication.
- bad judgment due to marked with a grill or crisscrossing horizontal lines.
- too many lines on the mount of mars marking a person to be lacking in fire.
- So here there are 2 things the gap between the head and lifeline brings rashness but badly marked mars bring about a lack of fire or fighting spirit within us.
- Both these things described here may appear to be similar but they are totally different.
Head and the Lifeline joint for a long length
If the headline and lifeline joint for a long length.

It makes such individuals dedicated, shy, reserved, reluctant, cautious, mulling over a decision at length.
They may miss many chances or opportunities. Yet it may be an excellent sign.
The reason being that they are left with fewer opportunities. So if these individuals try to peruse only one profession or work they are more successful.
This is because they are able to specialize in a single field of work. Fewer opportunities may also mean fewer distractions.
Success does come to these people due to the hard work and consistency.
Famous people whose head and life lines are joined
Jennifer Aniston’s head and lifeline are joined together at the beginning for a very long time.
She had revealed in one of the articles that she suffered from delayed development of dyslexia.
She was successful early in her life. This combination of both head and lifeline joint without any gap for an extended distance I normally conclude people be successful the best after age 35 or age 44. Even Steve Jobs had a similar indication on his palm.
These people are consistent, dedicated, hardworking, snail paced, being snail paced does not mean they are unsuccessful.
A cautious shy contemplating person can be successful too

In fact, they may be hugely successful. They may start to walk as a child at a later age. As these people are cautious they try to find a sure shot stable footing. They will contemplate the next move 100 times before they make the final decision. Such people tend to start to learn to walk a little bit later compared to other kids. These people when kids always want to be on a sure shot footing so that they do not fall. These people observe contemplate and learn and keep the best foot forward. People around these people may get frustrated about why they take so long. Actually, they are taking stock of the situation from different angles.
In Hare and tortoise story tortoise wins the race ultimately

In the famous tale of the hare and tortoise, we all know who emerges victorious. The lesson is clear: it’s not always about speed, but about being steady and consistent. This principle holds true in palmistry as well. Even if a person exhibits a prolonged convergence of the head and lifeline, indicating a deliberate pace, they can still succeed.
Much like the hare in the story, who took breaks and deviated from the designated route, it may seem like the slower individual is falling behind. However, the reality is quite the opposite. This serves as a testament to why those who maintain a steady and deliberate approach often come out on top.
Losses and failure due to both head line & life line joint together

Even if the head and lifeline exhibit a prolonged convergence, signifying a thoughtful and cautious nature, it doesn’t guarantee immunity from potential losses. This is because a person who tends to be deliberate, reserved, and contemplative due to the close proximity of the head and lifeline may face challenges.
It’s important to note that there could be several other contributing factors that may contribute to setbacks. Here, I’ll highlight a few additional considerations.
- A person venturing into various fields without a clear focus is likely to encounter difficulties and potential failure. Lack of concentration, dedication or focus often leads to a lack of success.
- In palmistry, an unclear and branching heart line can be indicative of this lack of focus. When the heart line branches downwards towards the headline or base of the palm, it suggests a tendency towards distraction and wavering from goals, which can ultimately lead to failure.
- Moreover, a person with multiple and unclear heart lines is more susceptible to being sidetracked, further increasing the likelihood of failure. Additionally, if both the fate line and sun line appear broken, dim, unclear, or barely visible, it can have a detrimental effect on the individual’s prospects.
- An unclear heart line often signifies doubts and uncertainties, which can contribute to a lack of confidence and ultimately lead to failure.
- Lastly, when the mounts of Venus and Mars are heavily marked with unnecessary lines, it can result in a misallocation of energy and drive, even for someone who is otherwise cautious, ultimately leading to failure.
So whenever we give a palmistry reading we do look at other aspects of the palm and then conclude. One bad sign or one good sign on the palm has no meaning, it’s the overall palm that matters the most.
Sorry but doesn’t resonated with me at all. I have huge gap between my head and life line. Since my childhood I’ve been described as a very cautious and non risk taker person. Rash isn’t my personality at all. I can’t even think of taking decisions before thinking through. The explanations don’t fit with me.
what say is correct. probably there are few other points that may be on your hands that may indicate you to be a person who is cautious shy , hardworking and contemplating. When there is a huge gap the person is likely to be what i have said. There maybe many lines on your palm. Maybe your hands maybe eak and feeble. Untill and unless i do take a look at your palm i cant arrive at conclusion.
I to have the same spacing and I agree. I too have been described as overly cautious and non risk taking. It isn’t rashness or a “just do it attitude” that causes us to miss out on opportunities, it’s the hesitation into action. So it is our fate and things meant to be for us which determines our successes here in this realm.
I don’t really understand the last sentence it’s meaning. What you are trying to convey? Small spacing doesn’t mean a person is cautious. It is only when both the head and the lifeline tied down together for a long duration of time, that is when the person is likely to be more cautious. Even if the person is very cautious, that doesn’t mean. That everything is lost. In fact, it may be a very good sign for success. It would give you the consistency. And the hard work.
Yep I’m the same. Huge gap, and very much an over thinker, hesitant, decision paralysis and generally a nervous and shy person.
It’s like they’ve written the exact opposite
I stand by my observations and what the book says. According to your interpretation, a significant gap between the head and life line indicates a bold, outgoing nature with a penchant for seizing opportunities. Overthinking might stem from different factors, not necessarily linked to this gap. Saturn’s influence might contribute to hesitant shyness, although confirming this without physically examining the hands remains uncertain. Additionally, you note that nervous individuals could potentially have flat nails, highlighting these correlations based on your palmistry observations.
I have a big gap between head and life line on right hand but they join on my left hand. What do you think?
Hello Linda, I’ve already discussed this extensively. When encountering a mix of both, the answer lies in considering both hands. It may suggest one hand represents the past while the other symbolizes the present. The active hand reflects your current self, while the passive hand represents your past. However, we adhere to the principle of not disregarding either hand in our analysis.
Short lifeline what indicated and huge gap between lifeline and headline in my hand so please clarify and reply me
a famous bollywood actor has a short life line yet alive so dont worry too much.
the gap between the head and life line means rash outgoing and never loosing on the opportunity.
What about a triangle in between life line and head line at the begining of the line
nothing much can be interpreted of what you have asked. normally a triangle on the life line means a property. but the question is how can a person who is below the age of 18 buy a property. it is possible the parens buy the property in the name of the child. This question can be best asnwered if i had the hand images. Mostly people imagine such triangles while looking at thier palm
I have seen most of the successful people have their mind line and life line joined…why is it so… I think money doesn’t stay in your hands if your mind line and life line are apart…
Joining of headline and the lifeline. Makes a person cautious, shy, hard-working and contemplating.
If the headline and the lifeline are far apart, the person is rash, outgoing, and never misses out on an opportunity.
It is incorrect to say if your Headline and the lifeline are far apart.
I kind of have many branches in my heart line and headline and life line are way apart what does that mean…
Branches leaning on the heart line often suggest a tendency towards being flirtatious, easily distracted, and susceptible to temptations, potentially leading to a lack of focus. Meanwhile, a noticeable gap between the head and life line often signifies a bold, outgoing nature, someone who seizes opportunities without hesitation.
Did you not read the article.
I have a very small head line which average spacing on my right hand. But my left hand has head line stretching upto under mount of Jupiter. Kindly explain.
If the headline originates on the Mount of Jupiter, it is considered one of the most auspicious signs. The Mount of Jupiter represents qualities like administration, religion, politics, power, and spirituality. Possessing these traits significantly enhances your potential for growth and expansion in life.
You also mentioned that your headline has “average spacing” on your right hand. This statement seems incomplete. Are you referring to the spacing between the headline and the lifeline? If so, this indicates that you tend to have timely and well-calculated decision-making skills, as your sense of timing is excellent.
However, it’s important to note that I cannot draw definitive conclusions based on your description alone, as I haven’t seen your palm.
A short headline need not be a bad sign. Sometimes it can be a very, very good sign. You can see this kind of a line in the hand of Ram. jet Malani, the famous lawyer as well as Shahrukh Khan. Short headline does not mean that the person is a fool Headline is not the line of intelligence. Headline is the line for your thought process. I have explained why a short headline is considered to be a good sign. in my videos in my youtube videos.
